How much are tickets?

Our general prices are:

General Admission: $21 advance/$25 at the door

Students with I.D./Senior Citizens: $18 advance/$21 at the door

Group Rates for 20 or more is 20% off the total ticket purchase

 

How and where can tickets be reserved and purchased?

Single tickets may be purchased at all MetroTix outlets (314-534-1111) or at Afro World, Inc. (314-389-5194).

 

Reservations, group sales and charge by phone ticket orders are accepted at the Unity Theatre Ensemble adminstrative office (314) 355-3586.

 

 

Are there any service fees? There is a $1.00 service charge for tickets purchased by credit card.

 

Can I get discounted tickets?

Group sale discounts are 20% off the general ticket prices with groups of twenty or more per performance. Other discounted tickets are available for Buy A Night and Let Us Entertain You Fundraiser Project. Email for further information on these options.

 

Are there any ticket giveaways?

Yes. UTE periodically promotes limited ticket giveaways for productions through cooperation with selected St. Louis radio stations and selected civic organizations.

 

How many performances do you present for each production run?

At this time, each production is presented for one weekend or six performances only. However, because of patron request for a longer performance run, the 2010 season, Unity Theatre Ensemble will do each production for 10 performances. If audience demand proves to justify the increase, the 10 performance production will be come our new standard.

 

What days of the week do you have performances?

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Matinee performances are presented on Saturdays for each production.

 

What time do your shows start?

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays @ 7:30 P.M.; Matinees on Saturdays at 3:00 P.M.

 

When should I arrive at the Theater?

The Box Office opens one hour before curtain. The theater auditorium is open for seating thirty minutes prior to curtain. Circle of Unity Supporters, VIP's and Season Subscribers (when promoted) and the physically handicapped are allowed entrance into the auditorium before the general audience. Reserved tickets are held until 30 minutes before curtain. While you wait for the play to begin you can enjoy concessions provided by The Ivory Theater or complete mailing list form to be informed about future productions.

 

What happens if I arrive late to the theater?

Latecomers will be seated at the House Manager's discretion and only at an appropriate time during performance so as to not distract the viewing audience or the performance.

 

What happens if I buy a ticket, then discover I can't go to the Theater on that date?

All sales are final, and there are no refunds* If at the last minute you are unable to use your ticket(s), you may turn them in as a contribution to UTE. The value of the donated tickets is tax-deductible and acknowledged by mail. Tickets must be received or post marked no later than Wednesday following the close of the production to be acknolwedged as a donation. Tickets for past productions cannot be considered a donation. If you are a Subscriber, and the ticket(s) in question were purchased as part of a subscription package, they may be exchanged.

 

*Refunds are issued ONLY in the unforeseen event of a performance cancellation by Unity Theatre Ensemble.

 

Where can I park?

There is a fenced parking lot (at the rear of the theatre) and street parking available on a first come basis.
